The programme is developed around the intended use of the space, approvals, long-lead items and the interfaces between building fabric, services and finishes. This coordinated approach reduces gaps between trades and helps maintain control of quality and cost.

Fit-outs that work in the real building

Surveys and design information are checked against existing conditions before manufacture or installation. In occupied premises, noisy or disruptive tasks can be phased and circulation routes protected. Testing, commissioning, snagging, demonstrations and handover records are brought together before the completed area is released for use.

Landlord criteria, building rules, planning conditions and other approvals are built into the pre-construction review where applicable. Samples, benchmarks and coordinated setting-out help resolve visible details before repeated installation, while procurement tracking provides early warning if a selected finish or item could affect the completion date.

What is a Cat A fit-out?

Cat A is the landlord's basic finish: a usable, lettable space with services, ceilings, lighting and basic finishes in place, ready for a tenant to fit out.

What is Cat A+?

Cat A+ sits between the two. The landlord delivers a space that is close to ready to occupy, usually with meeting rooms, kitchen points and furniture, so a tenant can move in quickly.

What is a Cat B fit-out?

Cat B is the tenant's own fit-out. It turns the Cat A space into a finished workplace or customer environment, with partitions, joinery, finishes, furniture coordination and the services alterations that go with them.

Can a fit-out be carried out in occupied premises?

Yes. In occupied premises, noisy or disruptive tasks can be phased and circulation routes protected.
