When you send an enquiry we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, the type of project and whatever you tell us in your message.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to reply to you, to understand your project and to prepare a quotation if you ask for one. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
We don't use enquiry details for marketing, and we don't sell or rent them to anyone.
Who we share it with
Your details are handled by the companies that provide our website hosting and email. We may share relevant details with consultants or subcontractors where that is needed to price or carry out work you have asked us about.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and any work that follows. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as the law requires.
