Dry Lining & Interior Works

Dry lining for new-build developments across London and the South East, with nationwide capacity for substantial construction programmes.

Dry liner fixing plasterboard to a metal stud partition

Amida delivers dry lining and interior packages for new-build residential, mixed-use and commercial developments. The service is structured around programme certainty, build sequence, tested system requirements and consistent workmanship across plots, floors and cores.

Drawings, specifications, interfaces and material schedules are reviewed before installation. Openings, service penetrations, deflection details, pattressing and door requirements are coordinated early to reduce rework during later trades.

Our dry lining contractors deliver coordinated partition, lining, ceiling and finishing packages for new-build and commercial development programmes.

Partitions, linings and performance systems

  • Metal stud partitions, plasterboard walls, independent wall linings, direct-bond linings, shaft walls and encasements.
  • Fire-rated, acoustic, moisture-resistant, impact-resistant and specialist board constructions installed to the specified system.
  • Thermal and acoustic insulation, resilient layers, deflection heads, cavity details and formed openings for services and access panels.

Ceilings and finishing works

  • Plasterboard and suspended ceilings, rafts, bulkheads, perimeter margins, riser enclosures, column casings and feature details.
  • Tape and joint finishes, skimming, corner protection and preparation to an agreed standard ready for decoration.
  • Coordination of frames, doors, ironmongery, access hatches, backing supports and local carpentry or interior finishing requirements.

Built for phased development programmes

Labour, deliveries and work fronts can be organised by plot, apartment type, level or zone. Quality checks focus on setting out, board fixing, joints, openings, fire and acoustic details, surface finish and protection of completed areas before handover to following trades.

System performance depends on following the complete tested build-up, not simply using a particular board. Tracks, studs, fixings, insulation, joints, sealants and penetrations therefore need to match the specified arrangement, with any proposed substitution or site constraint raised before the work is closed and finishes are applied.
