Amida undertakes mechanical works that keep commercial buildings comfortable, efficient and operational. Packages range from targeted plant replacement and system modifications to coordinated installations within refurbishments, fit-outs and occupied properties.

The building, existing plant, operating demands and maintenance access are considered together. This helps ensure new equipment can be controlled, serviced and integrated without creating avoidable disruption or future access problems.

Our commercial mechanical contractors deliver HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and plant works for refurbishments, fit-outs, upgrades and occupied buildings.

Heating, cooling and ventilation

• Boilers, chillers, heat pumps, air-conditioning, VRF/VRV systems, fan-coil units, air-handling units and associated controls.
• Supply and extract ventilation, ductwork, grilles, dampers, fans, kitchen or toilet extract and local environmental improvements.
• Low-temperature hot water, chilled water and heating distribution, including pumps, valves, strainers, expansion and pressurisation equipment.

Water systems and plant rooms

• Booster sets, circulation pumps, water storage interfaces, calorifiers, cylinders, plate heat exchangers and commercial hot-water generation.
• Plant-room pipework, insulation, supports, isolation, equipment bases, condensate drainage and replacement of failed components.
• BMS connections, sensors, actuators, sequencing, commissioning, balancing and functional checks appropriate to the installed system.

Maintenance, upgrades and dependable handover

Planned servicing, reactive diagnosis and lifecycle replacement can be aligned with site priorities and asset condition. Following installation or modification, systems are tested, settings are recorded and accessible information is handed over so facilities teams understand what has changed and how the equipment should operate.

Equipment selection can consider efficiency, noise, resilience, future servicing space and compatibility with retained plant. Where existing systems have recurring performance issues, investigation may include controls, water condition, flow, air distribution, sensor position and operating strategy rather than assuming that equipment replacement alone will solve the problem.
